We are looking for a range of different skills. Firstly you will need excellent A level passes, including where possible subjects with analytical, numerical or business content. (it may surprise you to know that you do not need a maths A level to become an accountant but of course you need to be numerate!) You will need good communication skills, and your motivation and commitment should be high, with a desire to continue learning. We don’t just value people for their academic qualifications but for the qualities they can bring to Princecroft Willis.
We need good team workers as well as those who can adapt to varying working environments as you will have to be prepared to work at our clients’ premises as well as in our offices.
You should have an enquiring mind, resilience and maturity.

As an A level entrant apprentice with Princecroft Willis, you will have the opportunity to work with the leading independent accountancy practice in the area and the chance to learn about accountancy practice in depth.

Our professional training courses are provided by Kaplan based in Southampton and can provide support for AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) and ATT (Association of Taxation Technicians)studies.

We will provide you with a Mentor, someone who isn't your line manager but is an experienced colleague who you can go to for advice to help you settle into your new role.
